How it Works

STEP 1:

Run the downloaded .exe file of the software. The home windows of the tool will be appear like given below.

STEP 2:

Add the Damaged VMDK file by just clicking on Scan button from menu bar.

STEP 3:

Select an option either Scan Virtual Machine or Search Virtual Machine according to requirement.

STEP 4:

If you choose Scan Virtual Machine, than click on the Brows button to load the file.

STEP 5:

If you don′t know the path of damaged file then select the radio button Search Virtual Machine. You can search the file from All Drive or Specific Drive.

STEP 6:

A new window will appear with information of virtual machine attributes.

STEP 7:

You can search from a specify drive by providing particular drive name.

STEP 8:

As the files are loaded, just click on the Scan button to start the recovery process.

STEP 9:

A pop up window will appear with successful message, click on OK.

STEP 10:

Now the software will list complete information, view entire recovered data.

STEP 11:

Filter particular data by using Search Filter and Date Filter. You can filter data by specifying Creation Date, Modified Date and File Extension etc.

STEP 12:

As you enable the Search Filter option, a new window will appear with required details.

STEP 13:

Save data either by using Extract or Extract As option. By using extract as option you can save the file at new location, click on OK.

STEP 14:

Now you can view entire extraction process report in new window. Click on link to view complete details.

STEP 15:

Hit on the Save button to save the Extracted Report in CSV format.

STEP 16:

Provide appropriate name to save the file and click on Save.

STEP 17:

Now click on the OK button to save the resultant file and provide desired location save the it.
